Junior

Being a family-oriented club, Valpo Country Club continues to have a successful junior golf program. The club has produced some talented junior golfers over the years. Many of the VCC juniors compete on their local high school teams, and some have continued in the college and professional ranks.

The primary goal of the junior golf program is to introduce juniors to the game in both a fun and interesting manner so they will gain an interest in the game and strive to learn the important aspects of golf. The game of golf teaches juniors respect, discipline, how to compete individually and how to enjoy this sport of a lifetime. We believe it's important for juniors learning the game to develop the proper fundamentals and building blocks in the short game, long game, rules and etiquette when they are young so they can improve with age.
