Vince comes to VCC as a 30+ year member of the PGA who grew up in NWI, attending Boone Grove HS. He played college golf at the University of New Orleans and did his graduate work at Indiana University. He has served as a golf professional at private, semi-private, public and University golf facilities including Lakes of the Four Seasons, Martinsville CC, Indiana University GC, Windy Hill CC and most recently at Tiger Pointe CC. He recently retired from DePauw University where he was the men’s and women’s golf coach and instructor of Kinesiology for 23 years. While at DePauw his teams qualified for the NCAA championships 19 times and 17 of his players earned all-American honors. During his career at DePauw his teams won over 100 tournaments and he was named the National Coach of the Year on 3 different occasions. Vince and his wife Lisa along with their 3 children moved to Valparaiso in 2020 and the children attend Valparaiso schools. As a family they enjoy all things Valpo and the Dunes. They love to attend all the regional summer food festivals. Vince enjoys reading about golf history and appreciates being hired during the centennial celebration of the club.
Lisa was born in Harvey, Illinois. Her family moved to Valparaiso in her early teens where she attended middle school and high school. She is a graduate of Valparaiso High School. Lisa is a mother of 2 boys ages 18 and 12. Lisa has been in the food and beverage industry for 23 years with the past 15 years here at the Club. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her boys, reading a good novel, shopping, and going to the beach.
Our Executive Chef, Kevin Roark has been in the hospitality industry for 30 years as a chef & kitchen manager. Kevin came to us in May of 2018, and has been a welcome addition ever since! He attended Culinary Arts & Chef Training at the Saddlebrook Country Club in Tampa Florida. Kevin started his career at Cisco’s Café in Merrillville, Indiana. He worked as a corporate trainer for the Bennigan’s Restaurant chain where he helped overhaul their menu. He has worked in many venues as an executive chef including: Stoney Point Grill in Mokena Illinois, Compass Group, and Tommy Nevin’s Irish Pub in Frankfort Illinois. Most recently Kevin was the Executive Chef at the Farmhouse Restaurant at the Fair Oaks Farm in Fair Oaks, Indiana.
He is very excited for the opportunity to share his passion for food with Members of Valparaiso Country Club and looks forward to exciting years ahead.
Crystal came to VCC with over 20 years of experience in marketing, customer service, and sales. She attended Ferris State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing. She started working at the age of 16 at a fellow Indiana Country Club, and was a member at another local club for several years. Professionally, Crystal has resided in Porter County for the past 9 years and helped contribute to the growth of many local businesses here in NWI, and several National businesses across the U.S.
Crystal has two daughters who are her world, and she spends all her free time with them. They enjoy time outdoors, swimming, going to the beach, riding bikes, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
She looks forward to contributing to the growth of VCC by exceeding membership expectations, while also continuing to form lasting relationships with both our current and new members.
Kaylee Pancek serves as the Banquet Director at VCC, bringing over 12 years of customer service experience and more than three years with VCC to her role. A Valparaiso native, Kaylee is a graduate of Ball State University, where she studied Pre-Law. In addition to her work at VCC, she is also the Head Cheer & Dance Coach at Valparaiso University, showcasing her leadership both inside and outside the hospitality industry. When she’s not working, Kaylee enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their two little ones.
